What is Career Assessment?


Career assessment is a process that helps individuals identify their strength, skills, interests, personality traits and values to determine which education streams, career paths and type of Job are best suited for them.

Career assessment helps individuals to make informed career decisions by providing them with insights into their personal attributes, skills & interest and how they relate to different careers. Career assessments can be used for a variety of purposes, including career exploration (choosing a college major/Training programs/Job), career planning and career transition (during education and job).It can also help individuals identify potential barriers to career success, such as skills gaps or lack of experience in a particular area.

They can be used at various stages of an individual's career, including during the career exploration phase, when making a career change or when considering further education and training.
